The road to Net Zero
Atlas is committed to being a Net Zero company by 2040, 10 years ahead of the UK government’s target. We also help our clients achieve Net Zero via our expert decarbonisation projects and contractual emissions audits.
All Atlas offices now use renewable electricity. We are transitioning our fleet to electric and hybrid vehicles. We offer employees salary sacrifice schemes to go green with how they travel.
We expect to have removed 100% of Scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions and attained a 50% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2035. Read more about our carbon emissions plan by downloading our report.
Committed to sustainability and social value
We put sustainable solutions and social impact at the heart of our operations, with over 20 client ESG partnership plans in place and many more in development.
From more efficient asset performance to removing single-use plastics, we believe that sustainability is a necessity but does not need to be costly. With our in-house ESG team, we advise clients and design new operating structures to make sure sustainability is built in to contracts. In doing so, we support the achievement of clients’ own ESG objectives.
Social value is not a buzzword but something we do. We promote the local economy, employ people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and raise money for charities.
