Atlas Operative Addo Kwasi recently joined colleagues from Aviva Investors and Cushman & Wakefield for a volunteering day in Manchester.

The event took place on Thursday 21st May within the Chinese Quarter of the City Centre, focusing on the iconic archway park and
subsequent urban gardens.

Working in and around the community’s iconic archway park and Moon Garden, volunteers spent the day removing graffiti, landscaping, painting communal areas, planting, cutting back foliage, and helping regenerate one of the area’s best-loved green spaces.

AVIVA are the official sponsor of the multi functioning event space, in collaboration with the Factory and Manchester International Festival of arts & culture. The project brought together teams from across the partnership to support a part of Manchester that is used and enjoyed by thousands of people each year.

Clean, well-maintained shared spaces help create a more welcoming environment for residents, visitors and local businesses alike.
