Our very own Alexandra Ballen Muñoz has been shortlisted for an important industry award – the national PFM Award for Special Recognition.
Cleaning Supervisor at Kensington Town Hall, Alexandra has spent the past 11 years working in the same building for the same client. She knows it better than most, from the corridors and council offices to the artwork that lines the walls. Ask her about the layout, and she will not hesitate. Every floor, every corner, every room is committed to memory!
But what defines Alexandra is not just her knowledge of the space. It is her understanding of how it lives and breathes. From the outset, she saw her own values aligned with those of Atlas, in particular Treat Clients Like Your Best Friend and Be Honest. Always.
Over the years, Kensington Town Hall has become a second home. She has a genuine affection for the building, the people, the routines, even the quirks of the architecture.
But Alexandra’s success is also rooted in the support around her. She believes in a ‘one-team approach’ grounded in communication, trust, and shared responsibility. Her leadership has helped shape a team where standards are high, and talent is recognised. She creates a calm space where the team feels heard, talking things through, always with kindness, knowing they can come to her with anything.
One of her customers wrote to us, saying:
